Rev. Dr. Stephen Caine
Hello, I am Stephen Caine, one of the Pastors here at The Indian Hill Church and I hope that you and your family will come and visit us for worship and fellowship and that you can find what is so special about us. I am a Co-Pastor or the Presbyterian Teaching Elder of the Indian Hill Church. I started in December 2013. Prior to that I served as Pastor Head of Staff of the First Presbyterian Church of Shelbyville, Tennessee. Prior to serving in Shelbyville, I was pastor of The Marion Presbyterian Church, Marion, South Carolina for four years. I am the second of four boys and I was raised in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. I graduated in 1996 from Columbia Theological Seminary, in Decatur, Georgia. While at Columbia Seminary I met my wife, Margaret Adams Caine (Monnie), who is also an ordained Teaching Elder (Minister of the Word and Sacrament) in the PC (USA). Our family includes two sons, Winston, Marion and a daughter Elliott. Apart from my work at the church I have a range of other interests. My leisure activities include reading, sports of all types, coaching my children’s sports teams, community and civic volunteer work, watching movies, yard work, eating at good restaurants and spending time with my family and friends.
