Music plays a vital role in our worship here at Indian Hill Church. We have a variety of choirs for singers of all ages to provide leadership and to enrich our 10:30 service. We are fortunate to have talented soloists in our choirs, many of whom are or were voice majors at CCM (UC’s College-Conservatory of Music) and other universities. All of our choirs rehearse on Sunday mornings. Anyone interested in serving in our Music Ministry are encouraged to contact Phil Clary, our Director of Music at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Adult Choir sings at the 10:30 service two to three times each month. Although the Adult Choir sings a varied repertoire, this choir embraces choral music from the Anglican and Reformed traditions.
The Youth Choir is open to ages 9th Grade to young adult and sings music of a less traditional nature – American Gospel and music from African and other non-European traditions. The Youth Choir sings once a month at the 10:30 service.
MEN’S CHOIR / WOMEN’S CHOIR
These two choirs provide an opportunity for singers who enjoy the fellowship of joining with brothers or sisters in song and may have great memories of collegiate glee clubs. Each of these choirs only sings once every two to three months.
